In memoriam: Day of Valor

Fall Of Bataan - All About History | EverandApril 9, 2024 marks the 82nd anniversary of the Fall of Bataan which we Filipinos call it “Day of Valor.” Although the USAFFE forces surrendered to the Empire of Japan, one great tenet they displayed is that they never gave up even with all the odds against them until the bitter end. Even with their defeat, the hope for the country to be free did not die as the battles were still continued by guerilla forces who harassed the Japanese forces until McArthur came and liberated the Archipelago.
